Who is this guy?
Well, at the moment I’m a Creative Director/Writer at Commonwealth McCann Detroit co-leading the work for Chevrolet Trucks. I say “at the moment” because Chevy has just chosen new agencies.
Before this I led the creative work on Metro Wireless for Saatchi & Saatchi Seattle, and freelanced for a few years. Loved having the chance to meet so many more people in the biz and work on so many (very) different accounts.
I spent many years as an SVP/Creative Director/Copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia. While there, I worked on a LOT of clients including GEICO, Def Leppard, Chips Ahoy!, RITZ Crackers, Timberland PRO and Walmart. And also served as an adjunct professor at the VCU Brandcenter.
And way back, I was an ACD/Copywriter at GSD&M in Austin, Texas. Clients there included Southwest Airlines, AT&T, Land Rover and BMW. I created a bunch of work for Southwest, including a few spots in the “Wanna Get Away?” campaign.
I’m a snowboarder and a mountain biker and a drone enthusiast. I’m married to a nurse and have a very goofy greyhound. I’ve never been on Saturday Night Live, but my work has been recognized by The One Show, the CA Advertising Annual – I even got short-listed at Cannes for Walmart. Yep, Walmart.

Oh, this? Just a short film I made about trying to get to SXSW one year. Starring Ben Affleck as me.
